CAMBRIDGE CARE COMPANY’S SERVICES
Before we begin providing our care services we will meet with you to discuss and agree your individual care needs, such as when you would like the care to start, at what times you would like us to visit and what you would like us to do to assist you in your home. This is also an ideal time for us to answer any questions you may have.
We call this an assessment, and we put the information you share with us into your care plan, which we place in your home. This information enables our carers to provide you with the care services you require.
At all times our carers will promote and enable your independence.
All service users are treated equally and are protected against any form of discrimination.
OUR SERVICES INCLUDE ASSISTANCE WITH:
- Dressing and undressing
- Washing, bathing, oral hygiene and shaving
- Toilet and continence requirements
- Manual handling
- Shopping, collecting pensions, companionship for days out
- Preparing meals
- Laundry and general housework
WE CAN ALSO PROVIDE SPECIALIST TASKS, WHICH INCLUDE:
- Catheter care and colostomy care
- Eye, ear and nose drops
- Peg feeding
Prior to our staff providing these specialist tasks they attend training and the person who delivers the training signs to verify that they are competent to undertake the task.
