Can I use Direct Payments to pay for your services?

Yes, we accept Direct Payments. If you wish to find out more about Direct Payments please use this link to the Direct Payments website.

I need care to start straight away for a short while — is this possible?

Yes, we are able to provide services at short notice and for any length of time you require. Our minimum charge is for half an hour and our terms and conditions of service can be obtained by contacting our office.

Is there an out of hours emergency service?

Yes, we have a 24 hour phone number, which you will be given when we begin providing service.

Will my carer be “police checked”?

Yes, all our carers have an enhanced disclosure and Protection of Vulnerable Adults check completed by the Criminal Records Bureau before an offer of employment is made.

How will I know which carer will be visiting me?

We aim to provide you with the same carers each week to ensure continuity of care. We will send you a rota each week to inform you of which carers will be visiting you and the time they will arrive.

What if my carer is unwell or on holiday?

We have staff on hand to cover holidays and sickness. If your allocated carer is unable to visit you we will inform you of who your alternative carer will be.
